Mildred Elizabeth Radford

Mildred Elizabeth Spofford Radford, 82, of Jeffersonville, died Wednesday morning, June 12, 2013 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on May 1, 1931 to the late Foster and Dorothy Stone Spofford.
Mildred graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Chemistry. She spent much of her life in Puerto Rico where she worked as a meat inspector for the United States Government until her retirement. She enjoyed flower gardening and playing bingo with the Camargo Senior Citizens.
Survivors include; one son, Foster VillaLongo of Puerto Rico; three daughters, Amy Cecil (Courtney) of Jeffersonville, Susan Hedgecock of Owingsville and Sarah Hirsch (Geoff) of Bradford, New Hampshire; two sisters, Mary French (Jack) of Concord, New Hampshire and Emily Jones of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
