Norma Lee (McCarty) Centers

Norma Lee McCarty Centers, 71, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, December 12, 2016 at UK Medical Center. She was born January 23, 1945 in Morgan County to the late Earnie and Victorine Lykins McCarty.
Norma was a life-long resident of Montgomery County, of the Christian faith and a retired seamstress at Jockey for twenty three years. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and pets. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; one son, Joe Centers of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, David McCarty of Bath County and Bert McCarty of Mt. Sterling; three nieces, Robin McCarty, Heidi McCarty and Lisa Muncie; nephew, Bert Beshear; one great niece, Mallory Fielder one great nephew, Taylor Holt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenny McCarty, Harold McCarty and Gene McCarty.
Funeral will be Friday, December 16 at 10:30AM. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, both services at Queen Street Christian Fellowship. Burial will follow at Machpelah Cemetery.
