Patty Elane (Huff) Willoughby

August 6, 1949 — September 4, 2015

Patty Elane Huff Willoughby, 66, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday morning, September 4, 2015 at UK Medical Center. She was born August 6, 1949 in Montgomery County to the late Shelby and Mae “Mammy” Branham Huff.

Patty was a Montgomery County native, she retired after thirty-eight years as a dietary supervisor at Mary Chiles Hospital and St. Joseph Mt. Sterling and she also attended Howards Mill First Church of God. She had a passion for yard sales, cooking and catering and attending the church functions.  Patty also enjoyed traveling to Florida visiting family, camping with her sisters, she was a people person and loved to be active and on the go.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include; one daughter, Jennifer Willoughby Lawill (Raymond) of Mt. Sterling; one son, Robert “Boby” Willoughby (Brooke) of Mt. Sterling; three grandchildren, Austin Willoughby, Leslie Ferguson (Josh) and Todd Lawill (Jacqueline) all of Mt. Sterling; two great grandchildren, Tyson Ferguson and Noah Ferguson, both of Mt. Sterling; three brothers, Tommie Huff of Tampa, Florida, Tony Huff (Virginia “Jenny”) of Plum Lick and Terry Huff (Vicky) of Mt. Sterling; eight sister, Alene Agee (Roger) of Hamilton, Ohio, Sue Faulk (Walter) of Winchester, Maxine Nowicki (John), Jane Purvis, Judy Stone (Dewey), Peggy Pitts (Larry), Donna Shepherd (David) and Tammy Ray (Destil), all of Mt. Sterling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant oldest sister, Mary Wanda Huff.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Howards Mill First Church of God Homeless Coalition, 4367 Howards Mill Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.

A celebration of life gathering for her family and friends will be held Monday, September 7, 2015 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM with the Memorial Service at 5:00PM at Howards Mill First Church of God, 4367 Howards Mill Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.  Rev. David Campbell will be officiating.
