Peggy Ann Schooler Mann, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday morning, February 14, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Mt. Sterling on December 8, 1940 to the late Harold and Mary Elizabeth Davis Schooler.
Peggy was a member of Freedom Church, a lifelong resident of Mt. Sterling and retired from the Montgomery County Clerk's Office. She was faithful to God, loved her family and enjoyed the time she had with them. Peggy enjoyed painting, her flower garden, sewing quilts, making cream candy and taking photographs. She loved traveling, especially to the ocean where she would visit her lifelong friends in Florida. Peggy will be missed dearly by her friends and family.
She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Goldie (Jerry) and Liz Mann both of Mt. Sterling; two grandchildren, Mary Ann Chestnut (Wade) of Sharpsburg and Brady Goldie of Mt. Sterling; three great grandchildren, Jordan Wilson of Mt. Sterling, Callie Setters of Mt. Sterling and Grady Chestnut of Sharpsburg and one sister, Patty Lawson (Gary) of Mt. Sterling.
Funeral will be held Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 1:00PM. Visitation will take place prior from 11:00AM-1:00PM. Both will be held at Freedom Church at the Clay Community Center with V.P. Palmer officiating. Committal will follow at Machpelah Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Bryan Lawson, Blake Lawson, Brady Goldie, Wade Chestnut, Jordan Wilson and Josh Coffman.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jerry Goldie, Earl Clay Donaldson and Ronnie Donaldson.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Freedom Church "Pave the Way" at 644 Maysville Road, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 or Peggy Mann Funeral Fund at 816 Elmwood Drive, Mt. Sterling KY 40353.
