Pleas Northrup Wright, Sr.

May 6, 1952 — August 26, 2018

Pleas Northrup Wright, Sr. of Mt. Sterling, died on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Lexington VA Medical Center.  He was born May 6, 1952 to the late Northrup and Elizabeth Skaggs Wright.

Pleas was a Navy Veteran and moved to the area fifteen years ago from Ashland.  He was a member of Church of the Harvest and took each opportunity to share the Gospel with others.  He enjoyed; fishing and riding ATV's.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends and would wish blessings on us all.

Survivors include; his loving wife Linda Sue Wright of Mt. Sterling, one son Pleas Northrup Wright, Jr. (Tonya) of Mt. Sterling, one daughter Jessica Leann Cole (Gary) of Mt. Sterling, one brother Ted Wright (Phyllis) of Flatwoods, two sisters Anna Ramey of Raceland and Julie Dillow of Ashland and five grandchildren Hulia Cole fifteen years old and Joshua Cole nine years old both of Mt. Sterling, Alexander Wright eleven years old, Kaylee Wright eight years old and Isabella Wright four years old all of Mt. Sterling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Scottie Lee Wright and three sisters, Dixie Wright, Patricia Dillow and Georgia Fields.

Committal Service will take place Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11:00AM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast in Grayson.  Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 3:00PM at Church of the Harvest in Mt. Sterling.  Pastor Marion Fawns will officiate.
