Ray McIntosh, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at his residence, at the age of 77. Born on October 25, 1948, in Ravenna, to the late William "Willie" and Eva Rawlins McIntosh. Ray spent his life in service to his faith, family and country, leaving a profound impact on all who knew him.

Ray was a United States Army veteran and for 44 years, he faithfully served as a pastor at the First United Pentecostal Church, where he inspired countless individuals with his unwavering faith and dedication. He was also a retired engineer from CSX Railroad, and a
realtor for 30 years, embodying a hardworking spirit that he instilled in those around him. His commitment to family was evident in his cherished Friday night dinners and memorable family vacations, where laughter and love flowed freely.

Ray shared many joyful moments with his wife, Laura, whether cruising in their convertible to their cabin in Estill County, indulging in Country Boy Boxes from the
Wig-Wam in Ravenna, and enjoying ice cream at the Burger Barn in Irvine. His enthusiasm for life extended to his love for sports-he was a fan of UK basketball and the Cincinnati Reds. He loved setting around a good wood fire and watching westerns, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune were cherished moments, as was playing Rook with his brothers, building lasting memories.

Ray was a man of remarkable generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand or give his shirt off his back to those in need. His outgoing personality ensured that he never met a stranger, and he touched many lives with his kindness. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he delighted in spoiling them during shopping trips.

In reflecting on Ray's life, it is clear his faith in the Lord was paramount, followed closely by his love for his family. He and Laura were inseparable partners, working together in life's endeavors with love and devotion.

Ray is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Laura Walton McIntosh; children, April McIntosh Williams (Timothy) and Ray McIntosh II (Jodie); grandchildren, Nathan Tyler Ray McIntosh (Jacob Bauer), Paris Whitney McIntosh-Johnson (
Chaseton), and Timothy Landon Williams; siblings, Millard McIntosh (Ona), Russell McIntosh (Emma), Marshall McIntosh (Mildred), Jim McIntosh (Linda), Eugene McIntosh (Wanda), Linda Howell, Roger McIntosh (Ann), and Larry McIntosh (Sherry); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his late parents, Ray is preceded in death by his siblings, Arthur McIntosh and Willa Mae Tipton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the First United Pentecostal Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM.
