Raymond Earl Poore

Raymond Earl Poore, 64, of Danville, died Saturday morning, September 19, 2015 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Lexington. He was born November 20, 1950 in Mt. Sterling to the late Earl and Florene Cundiff Poore.
Raymond was a Montgomery County native and a retired correction officer at Northpoint Training Center in Danville. Raymond was a private person; he enjoyed watching football, reading and writing poetry. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; his wife of 33 years, Patty Arnett Poore of Danville; two sons, Chris Poore (Misty) of Dayton, Ohio and Tony Poore (Kristen) of Danville; One brother, David Poore of Crab Orchard; one sister, Nancy Lewis (Eddie) of Covington, Kentucky; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Poore.
