Rebecca "Becky" (Morton) Razor

February 16, 1954 — May 19, 2016

Rebecca "Becky" Morton Razor, 62, of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born February 16, 1954 in Xenia, Ohio to the late Everett and Christine Brown Morton.

Becky was a Montgomery County High School graduate, a Western Kentucky undergraduate and she received her Masters at the University of Kentucky as a speech therapist.  She was a member of the Church of the Ascension in Mt. Sterling.  Becky met the world every day with a smile and an unmistakable laugh.  She was a voracious reader and she dedicated her entire career to being a speech therapist at Camargo Elementary. Her family was her heart and they meant everything to her.  She loved her large group of friends, who cared for her as if she was a member of their families. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include; her husband of forty years, Danny Razor of Mt. Sterling; two sons, Boone Razor (Lucy) of Sharpsburg and Sam Razor (Sarah) of Lexington; three grandchildren, Caroline Razor and Hannah Razor, both of Lexington and Callie Boone Razor of Sharpsburg; one brother, Steve Morton (Nancy) of Mt. Sterling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kent Morton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Church of the Ascension, 48 West High Street, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353 and American Cancer Society, 1504 College Way, Lexington, Kentucky 40502.
