Reva Darlene (Payne) Cody

Reva Darlene Payne Cody, 64, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Friday evening, December 9, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.  She was born on March 21, 1958 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late Charles Boyd and Dora Frances Shrout Payne.

Reva was known as Re-Re to her close family, she was a native of Montgomery County and of the Christian faith.. She was a UK basketball fan, loved red lipstick  and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and family.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Reva is survived by her daughter, Becky Maiden (Tommy) of Jeffersonville, her son, Bryan Cody of Jeffersonville; three grandchildren, Zach Maiden, Luke Maiden and Olivia Maiden; two brothers, Billy Brien (Betsy) of Owingsville and Darrell Payne of Tennessee; three sisters, Dolly Roberts (Richard) of Richmond, Poochie Hunt of Mt. Sterling and Linda Henchon (Jerry) of Owingsville; a special cousin, Kim Sink of Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
