Ricky Melburn Calvert

Ricky "Rick" Melburn Calvert, 66, of Winchester, died Saturday, March 21, 2020.  He was born in Morehead on December 20, 1953 to the late Billy and Alma Manley Calvert.

Ricky was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, a Kentucky Colonel and a native of Winchester.  He dedicated his life to the service of others as a healthcare professional working with Hospice East and in his personal life.  Ricky was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, especially calligraphy.  He loved his many friends and family and will be dearly missed by them.

He is survived by one son, Jesse Calvert (Katie) and one daughter, Hope Calvert both of Winchester; two grandchildren, Brooklyn Calvert and Austin Calvert both of Winchester; one brother, Todd Calvert (Christy) and one sister Susie White (Roger) also of Winchester and numerous extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by one son, Izzy Calvert.

Family to hold a Celebration of Life Memorial at a later date.
