It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Clayton Brady, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 16, 2025, at the age of 64 in Stanton, Kentucky. Born on February 23, 1961, in Dayton, Ohio, Robert was a natural fighter from the very beginning, facing challenges such as hemophilia and a genetic eye disease with incredible courage throughout his life.
Robert met his soulmate, Sherry Brady, when they were just teenagers-16 and 13 years old, respectively-and together they forged a deep bond that lasted more than four decades. Their love story, marked by laughter and shared dreams, was a beautiful testament to their commitment to each other.
As a well-respected projectionist in the theater industry, Robert spent countless hours bringing joy to others through film. His vibrant personality made him a favorite among colleagues and friends alike. Beyond his work, Robert was passionate about many things; he had an impressive collection of sports cards, found joy in fishing, and expressed his creativity through painting portraits. He had a keen mind for understanding the stock market, a skill he enjoyed sharing with others.
Robert's family was the center of his universe. He cherished his daughters and took immense pride in his grandchildren, pouring his love into every playful moment spent with them. A skilled carpenter, he even built two homes for his family, each a reflection of his love and dedication.
Among the memories he leaves behind is his role as the grill master at family meals, where his laughter and clever jokes filled the air with warmth. His vivacious spirit, coupled with his witty sense of humor, will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. In moments of affection, he would often playfully tease Sherry, reminding her of the joyful bond they shared.
In his final moments, Robert's thoughts captured his with a cherished inside joke KMA, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable tales that will be cherished by those who knew him.
Funeral services and ceremonies celebrating Robert's life will be held at a later date to allow family and friends to gather and honor his memory. We invite all who loved Robert to join us in remembering his incredible spirit and the joy he brought into our lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Robert's memory to a charity supporting hemophilia research, continuing the fight that defined him.
Robert Clayton Brady, you will forever be in our hearts, and your light will continue to shine brightly in the memories we've shared.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; Robert Brady "Pops" and Karen S. Egelston, brothers; Anthony S. Brady and Brian K. Brady.
