Robert Allen Tapp

Robert Allen Tapp, 66, of Sharpsburg passed away on Sunday morning, May 28, 2023 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on May 1, 1957 to the late Roger and Thelma Sosby Tapp.

Robert was a Bath County native, member of Reynoldsville Christian Church, a graduate of Bourbon County High School and former guardrail contractor in the construction industry.  Robert loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, searching for Indian Rocks and spending time with his family and grandchildren.  He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.

Robert is survived by his son, Scotty Tapp of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Ethan Tapp of Paris and Kyleigh Tapp of Georgetown; two sisters, Kathryn White of Sharpsburg and Patricia Dyer of Sharpsburg; long time girlfriend, Mary Osborne of North Middletown and her children Benjamin and Claire.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by five brothers, Terry Tapp, Jerry Tapp, Ronny Tapp, Donny Tapp, John Roger and two sisters, Linda Mitchell and Lorene White.

Memorial service will be at Reynoldsville Christian Church, June 3, 2023 at 11:00AM.  Pastor Doug Routte will be officiating.
