Robert Eugene Willoughby

Robert Eugene Willoughby, 73, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday morning, July 16, 2018 at UK Hospice.  He was born on May 3,1945 to the late Elbert and Mabel Willoughby.

Robert was a member of Camargo Church of God, Mt. Sterling Masonic Lodge #23, United States Army veteran and retired from Rockwell International.  He had many interest such as his large garden and farming however none were closer to his heart than his Purple Martin Birds that arrived each April to find their houses prepared.  Robert loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He will be dearly missed by his family, friends.

Survivors include; his wife Patricia Darlene Willoughby of Mt. Sterling, three children, Mabel Wiler (Gary) of Mt. Sterling, Hazel Tufano (Micha) of Jeffersonville and Ashley Coons of Mt. Sterling, grandchildren Christian Flederer and Marcel Flederer of Germany, Brandon Wiler (Cortlynn) and Logan Wiler (Emilee) of Mt. Sterling, Kelly Thornberry (Dillon) of Owingsville, Grace Tufano of Jeffersonville and Akin Coons of Mt. Sterling and one great grandchild Levi Thornberry of Owingsville, one son-in-law, Roland Flederer of Germany.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Ramonda Flederer.

Funeral will be Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 3:00PM, Visitation Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 1:00PM-3:00PM, both held at Camargo Church of God.  Officiating will be Pastor Aaron Conn.

Pallbearers: Brandon Wiler, Logan Wiler, Kevin Willoughby, Micha Tufano, Gary Wiler and Dillon Thornberry.

Honorary Pallbearers: Steve Ward, Mitchell Smith, Levi Thornberry, Akin Coons, John Hart, James Blair and Tommy Campbell.
