Robert "Bob" Earl Carpenter

Robert "Bob" Earl Carpenter, 84, of Jeffersonville, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 surrounded by his family at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling Hospital.  He was born in Montgomery County on March 31, 1937 to the late Owen and Lucille Wells Carpenter.

Bob was a native of Montgomery County, of the Christian faith and a member of Grace Fellowship Tabernacle.  He was a graduate of Camargo High School, class of 1956.  He enjoyed; UK basketball and fishing.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years; Elsie Mae Carpenter; two sons; William Miles (Polly) of Louisville and Timothy Davis (Tina) of Hope; three daughters; Peggy Martin (Albert) of Mt. Sterling, Tammy Gail Davis of Jeffersonville and Joy Bramel (Woody) of Jeffersonville; fifteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers; Gerald Carpenter of London and Wayne Carpenter of Jeffersonville; special friends; Garry and Carlie Willoughby, Stephen and Jaime Willoughby, Sandy Willoughby, Oliver and Mary Willoughby.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two brothers; Charlie Carpenter and Donnie Carpenter; one sister; Peggy Ann Carpenter; two nieces; LaCaren Matthews and Greta White; one nephew; Perry Wayne Carpenter

Funeral Service for Bob Carpenter will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 12:00PM, visitation will be prior from 10:00AM - 12:00PM.  Both will be held at Queen Street Christian Fellowship Church, Mt. Sterling, KY.   Pastor Billy Rogers, Jr. will be officiating.  Committal will follow at Machpelah Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Casey Bramel, Richard Bramel, Adam Collins, Timothy Davis, Travis Davis and Matt Wyatt.
