Robin Renee (Lawwill) Cornett

Robin Renee Lawwill Cornett, 48, of Mt. Sterling, passed away on Tuesday night, October 11, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington.  She was born on December 8, 1973, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late William "Bill" Alfrey and Bonnie Lawwill Little.

Robin was a Montgomery County native a Christian Woman, member of True Life Community Church of the Nazarene and former child caregiver.  Robin had a joking personality and enjoyed; going to church, cooking, preparing family gatherings, spending time with her grandchildren and her fur babies.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Robin is survived by her husband; Dewey Cornett, Jr.; two sons; Brandon Mullins of Mt. Sterling and Joshua Cornett (Mary) of Mt. Sterling; two daughters; Pandora Basye of Mt. Sterling and Elizabeth Tackett of Mt. Sterling; four brothers; Austin Lawwill of Mt. Sterling, Jeff Alfrey of Mt. Sterling, Billy Alfrey of Lexington and Keith Burnham of Winchester; four sisters; Dorothy Moore (Robert) of Winchester, April Emerson of Louisville, Tonya Ritchie of Mt. Sterling, Shelly Berry of Mt. Sterling, Henrietta Little of Mt. Sterling and Patricia Mejia of Cincinnati, Ohio; special uncle; Tommy Harvey of Mt. Sterling; two special aunts; Ruby Pitts of Mt. Sterling and Barbara Gibbs of Mt. Sterling; special friend; Elsie Cole of Mt. Sterling; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday, October 22, 2022.  Visitation will be prior from 11:00AM - 12:00PM.  Both will be held at True Life Community Church of the Nazarene, 119 Winn Street Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.  Luncheon will follow the service.  Pastor John Kohr will be officiating.
