Roger "Wayne" Summers

Roger "Wayne" Summers, 69, of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born February 16, 1948 in Mt. Sterling to the late Roger and Gertrude Manning Summers.
Wayne was a native of Montgomery County, a member of the Grassy Lick United Methodist Church, a graduate from Montgomery County High School and a self employed farmer. Outside of farming, his most precious enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by family, church family and friends.
Survivors include; his beloved wife, Louise Wilson Summers of Mt. Sterling; one son, Michael Summers of Mt. Sterling; two grandchildren, Terry Summers and Owen Summers, both of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Terry Summers of Mt. Sterling; one daughter-in-law, Jennifer Sheridan Summers of Mt. Sterling; one aunt, Bonnie Turley of Mt. Sterling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dudley Summers.

Celebration of Life Memorial service will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Grassy Lick United Methodist Church. Rev. Butch Payne will be officiating.
