Ruth Ann Francis

Ruth Ann Turner Francis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on February 24, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY at the age of 68. Ruth was born on January 11, 1956,  to the late Courtney and Margaret Turner.  She dedicated her life to caring for others with compassion and grace.

Throughout her career in the medical industry, Ruth touched the lives of many as a dedicated caregiver. Her kind heart and selfless nature earned her the respect and admiration of all who knew her. Ruth's legacy of love and service will live on through the countless lives she positively impacted. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was solving puzzle books, spending time with her beloved dogs, Chico and Fancy, or creating cherished memories with her grandchildren. 

Ruth is survived by her devoted husband, Terry Francis; cherished daughters, Andrea Hunt and Dottie Gilley (Russel Gray); grandchildren, Lindsey Farrell (Sterling), Tiffany Gilley (Donald Wells), Jeff Rose and Courtney Miller (Brittany Bentley); great grandchildren, J.D. Darling, Rose Darling, Iris Wellls, Harper Miller, Olivia Farrell and Carson Farrell.  Ruth's memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends as they remember her kindness, warmth, and unwavering support.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Patience Gilley.
