Sandra Faye Gibbs Wightman, 53, of Jeffersonville, died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at UK Hospital in Lexington. She was born September 16, 1961 in Mt. Sterling to Stanley Wilson and Betty Faye Barnett Gibbs.
Sandra was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, a homemaker and a member of Antioch Christian Church. She was an amateur radio enthusiast and had a fondness of children and animals. Sandra loved life and found great joy in spending time with her family.
Survivors include; one son, Derek Scott Wightman of Mt. Sterling; parents, Stanley and Betty Gibbs of Jeffersonville; one grandson, Ryker Allen Wightman of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, Stanley Ray Gibbs (Pam) and Timothy Allen Gibbs (Norma) both of Jeffersonville; four nieces, Erica Murphy, Amanda Gibbs and Chrissy Willoughby (Brian) all of Mt. Sterling and Kelsey Gibbs of Jeffersonville; longtime boyfriend, Robert Triplett of Mt. Sterling.
Pallbearers: Brian Willoughby, Raymond Gilley, Junior Godsey, Chris Gross, Tyler Nidig, and Harley Henderson.
