Steven Thomas Giesing

Steven Giesing, 45, formerly of southeastern Connecticut, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, in Owingsville.He was born in New London, on Jan. 29, 1969, to the late Steven Fabrykiewicz of Delancey, N.Y. and Patricia Giesing of Norwich, she survives him. He is also survived by his stepfather, Steven Giesing of New London; his daughter, Kylee Faria of Clearwater, Fla.; and beloved grandmother, Louise Fabrykiewicz of New London; brothers, David and Joseph Giesing both of Norwich; brother's, Peter and Samuel Fabrykiewicz of DeLancey N.Y.; and sister, Jill Giesing of Norwich; also aunts and uncles, Cathy Berg and John Berg of Montville, Peter Fabrykiewicz of Stonington, and Mary Fabrykiewicz McTeague of Waterford. He also leaves his loving companion, Melissa Lewis of Kentucky. Steven was a sensitive soul and had the biggest heart. A talented artist, he worked in construction most of his life, a "jack of all trades", much like his grandfather, the late Stephan "Tom" Fabrykiewicz of Waterford. He volunteered at his local church in Salt lick, Ky., where he dedicated his time in service to others. He will truly be missed. Burial will be private. A memorial service is planned for a future date.
