Steven Lawson, 62, of Frenchburg, died Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at his residence. He was born on February 11, 1957 in Fairborn, Ohio to the late Shirley and Charlene Lovely Lawson.
Steven moved back home to Frenchburg in 1994 from New Hampshire where he worked as a machinist. He was of the Christian faith and a United States Army veteran. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, rock & roll and oldies music. Steven loved spending time with his friends and family and they will miss him dearly.
He is survived by one son, Steven Lawson of Lexington; two daughters, Shannon Lawson Nickell (Michael) of Frenchburg and Nicole Lawson of Lexington; two sisters, Nancy Smallwood (Rick) of Frenchburg and Debbie Lawson (Doyle Patrick) of Denniston; four grandchildren, Charlene Leboeuf, Elijah Lawson, Joshua Nickell and Aubrey Lawson; one niece, Jamie Gevedon (Michael) of Cannel City; two nephews, Steven Smallwood (Blake) of Frenchburg and Timmy Smallwood of Lexington; one great nephew, Logan Smallwood.
In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Addison Lawson and J.J. Leboeuf and his grandparents, Ella Lawson and Albert and Rhetta Smith.
Memorial service will be Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 3:00PM. Visitation will be prior from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at the Korea Church of God in Wellington. Pastor David Hale and Pastor Alan Ratliff will be officiating.
