Terrence "Terry" Alan Littrell

December 18, 1948 — September 1, 2013

Terrence Alan Littrell, 64, husband of Diana Campbell Littrell, passed away Sunday, September 1st after a long illness. He was born in Clark County to the late Arthur W. & Ima Day Littrell.

A former employee of Rockwell International, he co-founded Terrico, Inc. and later Littrell Homes. He spent the rest of his life working with his family as a builder and developer. He was a real estate broker, a member of the Lexington Home Builders' Association and a member of the advisory board of Central Bank.

In high school and college, Terry excelled at football and baseball. An avid sportsman throughout his life, he loved fishing, hunting, bowling and golf. With a group of close friends, he formed the Beaver Valley game preserve where he spent many happy hours with his friends, family and beloved dogs.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert (Brenda) Abshear, Deerfield Beach, Florida; a daughter Lynda Abshear and granddaughter Chloe Elizabeth Everman, Louisville and daughter, Stacey Alyn Littrell, Winchester; brothers, Wayne (Dell) Littrell and Kevin (Cathy) Littrell, Winchester and Phillip (Wanda) Littrell, Louisville and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Officiated by Pastor Brian Walton, a memorial service will be held at Calvary Christian Church on Saturday, September 7th. Visitation will be from 10AM until 12 noon. The service will begin at 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Hospice East, 407 Shoppers Drive, Winchester, KY 40391.
