Thelma (Jones) Riddle

April 15, 1952 — February 2, 2018

Thelma Jones Riddle, 65, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday, February 2, 2018 at the UK Medical Center.  She was born April 15, 1952 in Perry County to the late Jim Jones and Christine "Tine" Whitley Walker.

Thelma moved from Menifee County to Montgomery County over fifty years ago, she graduated from Menifee County High School and is of the Christian faith.  She was very handy around the house and she enjoyed cooking and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She'll be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include; one son, Tracy "Dino" Cole (Tonya) of Mt. Sterling; two daughters, Tammi Cole Henderson (Anthony) of Jeffersonville and Donnette Riddle of Mt. Sterling; two special grandsons, Matthew Riddle and Timothy Riddle, both of Mt. Sterling; four granddaughters, Tarya (Kelsie) Risner, Toni (Nick) Barnes, Laura Cole and Britney Cole; seven great grandchildren; one brother, David Walker (Carolyn) of Frenchburg; five sisters, Jeanette Faulkner of Perry, Florida, Carol Sue Staten of Dayton, Ohio, Barbara Hawk (Steve) of Richmond, Ohio, Joann Clemons of Mt. Sterling and Betty Turner of Frenchburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Scottie Riddle; one son, Christopher "Jake" Riddle; one sister, Susie Hiler, and three brothers, Johnnie Ray Jones, Robert "Alzo" Eddie Jones and Clyde "Pig" Walker Jr.
