Tracey Lynn Pendleton Highley, 39, of Salt Lick, died Tuesday morning, December 25, 2012 at the UK Medical Center. She was born May 16, 1973 to Dirk Pendleton and the late Anita Mullins Pendleton.
Tracey, a Montgomery County native, moved to Salt Lick a year ago. She was a 1991 graduate of Montgomery County High School, a 1995 graduate of Morehead State University, and a member of the Gateway Christian Church. Tracey loved UK basketball, Dallas Cowboys football, she adored her dogs, but most of all she loved spending time with her boys, Tyler and Brett.
Survivors include; her husband, John Highley of Salt Lick; two sons, Tyler Foley and Brett Foley both of Winchester; her father, Dirk Pendleton (Brenda) of Mt. Sterling; two uncles, Lonnie Pendleton of Winchester and Jeff Pendleton (Tina) of Mt. Sterling; two aunts, Terri Jones (Rodney) of Mt. Sterling and Gloria Parrish (Dave) of Georgetown; her paternal grandmother, Etta Lois Pendleton.
In addition to her mother, Anita Mullins Pendleton, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Harold Pendleton, and her maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Betty Mullins.
Graveside service will be Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00AM at Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Gateway Christian Church. Pastor Glenn Emery will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Tracey's memory; Tyler & Brett Foley Scholarship Fund, c/o Whitaker Bank, Post Office Box 286, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.
