Valerie Lynn Bartley

Valerie Lynn Bartley, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, at the age of 55. She was born on August 15, 1969, in Mansfield, Ohio, and spent her later years in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, where she created a loving home filled with warmth and laughter.

Valerie was a devoted member of the Baptist faith and found great fulfillment in her work in the retail industry, where her genuine spirit and dedication made a lasting impact on both her colleagues and customers. Her career in sales allowed her to connect with many people, reflecting her innate ability to forge relationships and spread kindness in every interaction.

Family was at the heart of Valerie's life. She treasured each moment spent with her loved ones, particularly her daughter, Rebekah Wells (John), and her son, Taylor Bartley. She is also survived by her father, David Hiltbrunner (Deanette), her sister, Tina Bentley (Donald), and her brother David Hiltbrunner, Jr. (Megs) who will forever cherish her memory.

A visitation will be held on July 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM, allowing friends and family to come together to honor and remember Valerie's beautiful soul. A celebration of life will follow at 6:00 PM, hosted at the Christian Assembly of God, where all who knew her are invited to celebrate her life and the love she gave so freely. Rev. Brandon Ballard will be officiating.

Valerie's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, reminding us always to cherish the simple joys of life and the importance of family. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Valerie is proceeded in death by her mother Judy Browning and grandson Hampton Griffith.
