Vickie Lynn Manley, 72, of Mt. Sterling passed away on Wednesday morning, May 31, 2023 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on November 18, 1950 to the late Albert and Joyce Copher Chandler.
Vickie was a native of Montgomery County, a member of Living Water Church and retired from accounting, having worked for the state government at Boone Center National Guard in Frankfort. Her hobbies included sewing, flower gardening, traveling camping and a UK Wildcat fan. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Vickie is survived by her three sons, Kevin Ginter (Danita) of Mt. Sterling, John Ginter (Amy) of Jeffersonville and Richard Manley (Anita) of Frankfort; three daughters, Ronnetta Manning (Donald) of Mt. Sterling, Trish Russell (Rick) of Louisville and Jennifer Godin (Brian) of Louisville; sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, James Chandler (Kay) of Frenchburg and Mark Chandler (Donna) of Jeffersonville; sister, Starr Connor (Charlie) of Mt. Sterling.
In addition to her parents Vickie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Manley.
Memorial Service will be held at Living Water Community Church on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 11:00AM. Visitation will be prior from 9:00AM to 11:00AM with the committal following at Machpelah Cemetery. Pastor Grant Cannoy and Mark Chandler will be officiating.
