Wanda Kathleen Ferguson Rice, 79, of Lexington, died Saturday afternoon, March 18, 2017 at her residence. She was born April 20, 1937 in Menifee County to the late Dewey and Vida Clem Ferguson.
Wanda moved to Lexington from Winchester in 2011, previously employed at Qualex Manufacturing and of the Christian faith. She enjoyed, country square dancing, taking care of children and listening to her favorite music; George Jones, Alabama, Little Richard and 1950's rock & roll. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; four daughters, Margaret Ann Whitlock of Stamping Ground, Sandra Gross (Mervin, Jr.) of Lexington, Helen "Libby" Powell of Lexington and Vicki Talbott (George) of Winchester; one brother, Roy Calbert Ferguson (Margie) of Georgetown; two sisters, Judy Jenkins (Billy) and Rita Hayes, both of Georgetown; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
