William Loy Bancroft, 55, of Mt. Sterling, died Sunday morning, July 16, 2017 at UK Medical Center. He was born September 27, 1961 in Jackson, Michigan to the late Phillip and Ella Clark Bancroft.
William moved to Montgomery County one year ago from Jackson, Michigan. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, he was a hard worker and was one of the founders of a beagle dog club in Arkansas, he had a laid back personality and above all, he loved his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; two sons, William Bancroft II (Shelby) of Mt. Sterling and Buck Bancroft of Jeffersonville; one daughter, J.J. Palmertree of Waveland, Arkansas; three brothers, Steve Bancroft (Becky), Butch Bancroft and Scotty Bancroft, all of Jackson, Michigan; one sister, Debra Kvalvog of Jackson, Michigan; four grandchildren.
