William "Butch" Edward Brock

William "Butch" Edward Brock, of Gordon, died on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital.  He was born on December 12, 1950 in Wheelwright to the late George and Roberta Brock Thornsberry.

Butch attended the Church of God in Wheelwright, which was a church built by his grandfather.  He was a great singer, had a big personality and loved his family dearly.  They will miss him.

He is survived by his brother Sonny Thornsberry of FL; Aunt Geneva Beatty (Gaines) of GA and Aunt Mary Adkins also of GA; niece Donna Sexton (Lynn) of Gordon, niece Lisa Smith (Charles) of TN; two sister-in-laws Lois Thornsberry of Gordon and Barbara Thornsberry of Frenchburg and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents George and Roberta Brock Thornsberry; three brothers Irmel Thornsberry, Wallace Thornsberry, Gerald Thornsberry and Tommy Thornsberry; one sister Irma Thornsberry Holcomb and nephew Denny Thornsberry.
