Willie Chapman, Jr.

Willie Chapman, Jr., 78, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Friday morning, August 11, 2023 at his residence with his loving family by his side.  He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on January 25, 1945 to the late Willie Chapman and Nana Mae Jenkins Crowe.

Willie moved to Montgomery County in 2003 from Lexington, retired truck driver and previously attended Tates Creek Christian Church.  Willie enjoyed; Nascar, UK Basketball, training Tennessee walking horses, farming, collecting knives and Dale Earnhardt memorabilia and smoking cigarettes.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Willie is survived by his wife of sixty beautiful years, Mary Ann Dunn Chapman of Mt. Sterling; one son, Lee Chapman (Kelli) of Lexington; two daughters, Teresa Young and Tina Maloney, both of Mt. Sterling; ten grandchildren, Kay Chapman Of Mt. Sterling, Kristie Olson (Kenny) of Aubrey, Texas, D.J. Young (Leigha), Sammy Feeback, Jr., Will Young (Kimberly) all of Mt. Sterling, Julius Chapman, Chris Gaines, Tres Rector, Zachary Chapman and Beth Chapman, all of Lexington; fourteen great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life service will be 11:00AM on Tuesday August 15, 2023 at Queen Street Christian Fellowship in Mt. Sterling.  Pastor Scott Barnes will be officiating.
