Zachary Taylor Lockett

Zachary Taylor Lockett, 21, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday evening, February 20, 2015, at UK Medical Center. He was born June 6, 1993 in Danville, Kentucky to Dale and Katina Pruitt Lockett.

Zach was a Montgomery County native and worked various jobs through Tipton Staffing. Zach had style along with his free spirit - adventurer and jokester personality. He was big hearted, loved to help others and was a "hugger". Zach was passionate about video games, cars and was a pretty good self taught mechanic. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include; his father, Dale Lockett of Mt. Sterling; his mother, Katina Pruitt Lockett of Lexington; his sister and best friend, Keria Lockett of Mt. Sterling and his step sister, McKenzie Wells of Mt. Sterling; his grandmother, Nancy Jones (Ed) of Mt. Sterling; four uncles; Billy Bowles of Mt. Sterling, Ralph Jones (Emma) of Mt. Sterling, Josh Goode and Buster Barnett, both of Lancaster; four aunts, Phyllis Ginter (James) of Mt. Sterling, Karen Jones of Lexington, Dodi Davis (Ralph) of Maryland and Tina Barnett (Johnny) of Nicholasville; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins; the love of his life, Allison Saylor of Winchester and his special friend; Levi Pankey of Mt. Sterling.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Raymond Lockett and his maternal grandparents, Junior Pruitt and Vickie Goode.
