Obituary

Curtis Watkins, Jr., 65, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon, August 24, 2023 at his home. He was born in Marshall, Michigan on February 7, 1958 to the late Curtis, Sr. and Betty Spindlow Watkins.

Curtis moved to Montgomery County in 1980 from Wolfe County. He was a handy man who enjoyed working on cars as well as spending time with his beloved dogs. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Curtis is survived by three sisters, Connie Johnson of Lexington, Cindy Graham (Richard) of Wilmore and Marvell Watkins of Jeffersonville; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Fields Watkins, his son, Jesse Watkins and sister, Christine Martin.
