Dillan Shane Vance, 31, of Mt. Sterling, passed away on Thursday morning, June 8, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on May 22, 1992 to Shane Vance and Elisa Brooks.

Dillan was a Montgomery County native, of the Christian faith, member of Life Impact Church and enjoyed working as a carpenter in the construction industry. He also enjoyed playing football in school and playing basketball with friends, he was an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan. His hobbies included fishing, watching movies and he loved spending time with his daughters.

Dillan is survived by his two daughters, Daniella Vance of Mt. Sterling and Twyla Vance of Mt. Sterling; father, Shane Vance (Cherita Miller) of Mt. Sterling; mother, Elisa Brooks of Mt. Sterling; sister; Amber Vance (Bradley McMillen) of Mt. Sterling; paternal grandparents, McKinley and Joyce Vance of Mt. Sterling; maternal grandmother, Wanda Brooks of Mt. Sterling; nephew Easton McMillen of Mt. Sterling; aunt, Sharon Vance Mullins of Mt. Sterling; cousins, Kayla Hagerman Madison Damron, Darran Brooks, Brandon Havens and Casey Havens; numerous other cousins; girlfriend, Valerie Smith of Mt. Sterling; best friend, Tyler Harvey.

Dillan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul Brooks.
