Elizabeth "Libby" Louise Redmond Glover, 64, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday morning, January 8, 2021 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center, Louisville. She was born in Mt. Sterling on July 22, 1956 to the late Clarence Redmond, Sr. and Sallye Groves Redmond.
Elizabeth was a native of Montgomery County, and was of the Christian faith. She was a graduate of Montgomery County High School class of 1974. Libby retired from the Montgomery County Health Department. She enjoyed, cooking, watching wrestling and social media. She was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, had a caring heart and enjoyed her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by her friends and family.
Elizabeth is survived by two sons; Eddie Campbell (Tara Thomas) of Mt. Sterling and Chris Glover of Mt. Sterling; seven grandchildren; Aniyah Campbell, Alana Campbell, Edward Curtis Campbell, Jr., Lyric Campbell, Destiny Lewis, Jamiah Keene, Christian Lee Glover, Jr.; one brother; Clarence Redmond, Jr. of Lexington; three sisters; Sheilah Sterling (Jack) of Mt. Sterling, Christie Jouett(Vance) of Mt. Sterling and Clairessa Hamilton (Leon) of Versailles; one aunt; Dilla Walker (Dick) of Mt. Sterling; special friends; Hattie Hudson of Mt. Sterling, Rosemary Pankins of Lexington and Jimmy Young of Georgetown; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private Family Service will be held at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 12:30PM to 1:30PM. Public Memorial Service will be held at 1:30PM. Reverend Jerry Jones, Sr. will be officiating
