Margaret "Margie" Ann (Hunter) Strange

Margaret "Margie" Ann Hunter Strange, 75, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Baptist Health, Lexington.  She was born in Bath County, Kentucky on April 15, 1948 to the late Elizabeth Donathan.

Margie was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, a member of Church of God and a former caregiver, assisting adults with special needs.  She enjoyed going to flea markets and cooking.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.   

Margie is survived by her husband, Hubert Strange; son, Herbie Strange (Kim) of Chillicothe, Ohio; daughter, Tammie Haddix of Mt. Sterling; four grandchildren, Cody Strange, Kyle Strange, Will Haddix and Harrison Haddix; one great grandchild, Sterling Strange.

In addition to her mother, Margie was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Denise Hunter.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, April 24, 2023.  Visitation will be held prior from 9:00AM - 11:00AM.  Both will be held at Spruce First Church of God 4755 KY 213 Jeffersonville, Kentucky 40337.  Pastor Scott Barnes and Pastor Sherman Sparks will be officiating.  Committal will follow at Martin-Willoughby Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Cody Strange, Kyle Strange, Will Haddix and Harrison Haddix.
