Obituary

Melodie Gay Dunn, 59, of Winchester, passed away on Monday afternoon, June 13, 2022, at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester.  She was born on July 31, 1962 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Thomas "Tom" and Anna "Peaches" Ewell Dunn.

Melodie had been a resident of Winchester for the past two years, following her move from Mt. Sterling.  She was of the Baptist faith and a wonderful homemaker.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and granchildren, UK basketball and cooking.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Melodie is survived by her son; James Craig of Nicholasville; daughter; Tabetha Craig of Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren; Karleigh Adams, Karson Adams, Jacob Charles, Caleb Charles and Alexis Carpenter; one great grandchild; Luca Charles; two brothers; Paul Dunn of Tuscan, Arizona and Wayne Dunn of Georgetown; numerous sisters.

In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by her daughter; Aimmee Charles and her granddaughter; Kaitlynn Adams.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00PM on Friday June 17, 2022.  Visitation will be prior from 10:00AM - 12:00PM.  Both will be held at Queen Street Christian Fellowship, 10 North Queen Street, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.  Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery, Georgetown, Kentucky.  Pastor William Prater will be officiating.
