Ronald Lee Hughes, Sr., 75, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Veterans Hospital, Lexington, Kentucky. He was born February 14, 1947 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late Asa Hughes and Gracie Mae Roberts Link.

Ronald was a Montgomery County Native and a Veteran of the United States Army. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends and his five loving canine companions.

Ronald is survived by one son; Ronald Lee Hughes, Jr. of Lexington; four daughters; Robin Turner (Tim) of Sharpsburg, Stephanie Whitt (Jason) of Mt. Sterling, Sherry Caldwell (Larry) of Mt. Sterling and Angela Hughes of Bowen; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers; Robert Howard of Salt Lick and Anthony Link of Winchester.

Memorial Service will be announced by the family at a later date.
