Obituary
Terry Van Stewart, 73, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky passed away Thursday evening, February 2, 2023, at his residence. He was born March 13, 1949 in Letcher County, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Nellie Smallwood Stewart.
Terry had been a resident of Montgomery County since 2014, following his move from Letcher County. He was a retired coal miner, tournament fisherman and motorcycle enthusiast. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Terry is survived by his brother, Jeff Stewart of Jeffersonville; three nephews, A.J. Stewart of Jeffersonville, Mike Phillips of Columbus, Ohio and Tony Phillips of Columbus, Ohio; two nieces, Becky Phillips of Columbus, Ohio and Cathy Phillips of Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his son, Vance Stewart; brother, Felix Stewart and his sister, Jenny Phillips.
