Whitney Jayne (Lawson) Spratt

Whitney Jayne Lawson Spratt, 44, of Mt. Sterling Kentucky, passed away on Thursday morning, January 26, 2023, in Richmond, Kentucky.  She was born on September 28, 1978, in Lexington, Kentucky, to Donna Nickels Hollon.

Whitney was a Montgomery County native, of the Christian faith and a former retail worker.  She was the life of the party, had a big sense of humor and loved life and socializing with others.  She enjoyed listening to music and dancing, loved animals, and attended cosmetology school.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Whitney is survived by her mother, Donna Nickels Hollon of Mt. Sterling; son, Noah Spratt of Mt. Sterling; sister, Lori Baxter Wells (James) of Mt. Sterling. 

Whitney is preceded in death by her husband, Jason Spratt; maternal grandparents, Herman and Dorethea Nickels and her brother, Josh Baxter.  

Graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Machpelah Cemetery.  Reverend Carl Wagoner will be officiating. 

Pallbearers: Sean White, Joey Burns, Jonathan Ballard, Richard Burns, James Wells and Alex King.
