William "Bill" Edward Romine

William "Bill" Edward Romine, 67, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at his residence.  He was born October 12, 1955 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late Houston Romine, Jr. and Edna Pearl Sexton.

Bill was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, of the Christian faith and a member of Grace Pentecostal Church.  He was a former employee of Nasco and enjoyed western movies, Cincinnati Reds baseball, UK sports and playing softball.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Bill is survived by his wife, Lucille Romine of Mt. Sterling; sons, Wendell Fraley (Laura) of Mt. Sterling and Randall Fraley (Gina) of Radcliff; three grandchildren, Christopher Fraley (Kaitlyn) of Richmond, Alex Fraley of Mt. Sterling and Kaleb Spurlock of Morehead; two great granddaughters, Susannah Fraley of Richmond and Dreamy Lopez of Radcliff; two sisters, Cheryl Chandler of Mt. Sterling and Loretta Howard of Salyersville; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son Sean Riley and four brothers, Bobby Romine, Kenneth Romine, Claude Romine and Shane Romine.  

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, February 10, 2023.  Visitation will be prior from 10:00AM - 12:00PM.  Both will be held at Queen Street Christian Fellowship 10 North Queen Street Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.  Pastor Scott Blankenship will be officiating.  Commital will take place at Machpelah Cemetery on Saturday, February 11 at 10:00AM.
